Central Region take the NBG Cup

NBG Central Region have claimed the 'Bob Beaver Memorial Challenge Cup' in this years NBG Football Tournament.

Supplier partner Hunter Plastics sponsered the event, which was held during the NMBS Conference earlier in the year. Ross McPherson, Assistant Branch Manager for Keith Builders Forres Depot, was awarded 'Man of the Tournament'.

John Dibble (Managing Director of BPS Ltd) Central Team Captain, said, “I believe all enjoyed the competition and I think we surprised a few on how competitive this little competition has become over the years. I think the games were closer than some of the scores reflected, but I thought Northern region reversing a 2-0 deficit to win 3-2 was probably the game of the tournament. I would like to thank all of the Central team for their skill and determination in winning back the trophy for their region.”
