Inter- Line builders merchants has branched out
Inter-Line builders merchants has branched out in to the South Hams this week with the opening of a brand new unit.

Monday saw the official opening of the new unit in Babbage Road Industrial Estate, Totnes, with Totnes Mayor Pam Barnes cutting the ribbon and celebrations are set to continue.

On Friday, local radio station Palm FM will be broadcasting live from Inter-Line in Totnes and pasties, sausage rolls and refreshments will be available for prospective customers. This is an ideal opportunity for you to gain advice and see what they have in store, particularly if you have a project in mind for the warmer months ahead.

Family-owned business Inter-Line has been serving the local area for 32 years and currently has premises in Brixham, Paignton, Exeter and a head office in Torquay. A chain of custody accredited timber distributors the well established business only uses timber, which comes from sustainable and well-managed sources.
The company recycles all its wood, steel, plastic, paper and cardboard, uses recycled and chlorine-free paper and has trained all drivers in fuel-efficient driving.

As a result of this, Inter-Line achieved success in the November 2008 Green category of the South Devon Business Awards and has recently been entered in the Queens Award. The company regularly makes charitable donations to local worthwhile causes such as: Paignton Youth Club, Rowcroft Hospice and the Mare and Foal Sanctuary.

Business is progressing and the company is looking forward to a positive future, with the number of employees increasing from 65 to 70 as a result of their new premises in Totnes.
