With the intention to sell tools and supplies to furniture factory workers on their way to and from work, to this day the retail shop remains on the very same road and still actively serves the local area. The business started to grow significantly and a larger shop had to be opened. This was a traditional ironmonger’s shop with a trade department to the rear of the premises, which supplied the local furniture industry with fasteners and fittings. In 1976, due to a road-widening scheme, we moved into purpose built premises which we still occupy today. At the time, ironmongery and tools were on the lower floor while the trade department operated from the first floor. However, the business continued to expand and the trade department was eventually transferred to a warehouse unit at Desborough Park Road and the hand and power tools moved to the first floor of the retail shop. Should the product you require not appear on the site, our knowledgeable sales team and buyers will do their best to source it for you Due to demand, we eventually had to expand into a brand new, purpose-built warehouse with over 22,000sq of space. This allows us to maintain extensive stocks of our core product ranges for a faster service. We have also invested in our staff and are constantly monitoring and training them to the high standards we have set ourselves. Our experienced staff are able to offer advice on the products shown on this web site and should the product you require not appear on the site, our knowledgeable sales team and buyers will do their best to source it for you.
