This year’s NBG awards have honoured the building industry’s major brands, recognising their contribution to the business success of NBG’s merchant Partners. In the spectacular surroundings of Liverpool Cathedral, the awards marked the culmination of another exceptional NBG Conference, that focused on the importance of building successful brands with the title “Building Our Brands - Bigger, Bolder, Better”.

As well as awards for suppliers in each of NBG’s eight product categories, recognition was also given to the Brand of the Year and the Account Manager of the Year, all voted for by NBG Partners. Brand of the Year 2017 was won by TI Midwood, with OX Group and Knauf Insulation finishing second and third. John Gaunt of Knauf Insulation scooped the Account Manager of the Year title for the third year in a row, with Simon Rance (TI Midwood) and Guy Best (Arbor Forest Products) as second and third placed.
